My name is Miss Longcoat.
I took the day off on November 18th so I can see Breaking Dawn.
I’ve done this for all 3 of the previous movies.
My boss knows and the entire office thinks it’s hilarious.
Please tell me I’m not alone.

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat: I made Fi take the day off and found a baby sitter so i could go and make him go with me lol…

@MsPanda: Yay!!!! That sounds like so much fun! I couldn’t DRAG Fi with me, but he’ll watch if I put in a DVD.

Giiirl! Of course I took the day off to go see it. I also plan to be at the theater by like 8 or 8:30pm for the midnight showing. I may also watch every single movie previous to it that day 🙂

I didn’t for Twilight but for the past 2 years I’ve taken days off for Harry Potter 🙂 My boss also knows and….everyone thinks I’m ridiculous.

I absolutely love Twilight but refuse to go see the movies the first few days they are out. I actually like to watch the movie, not listen to a theater full of girls scream when Jacob takes his shirt etc. ANNOYING.

YAY! I’m 27 and I am super excited for Breaking Dawn.
There is nothing in this world that will persuade Fiance to watch the movies with me… not in the theater, not at home.
I will be going (alone) to the movie theater on the 18th! I have no regrets… I just hope I don’t look creepy sitting there by myself in a theater full of teenage girls watching a shirtless teenage boy… *sigh*

@MissGreen: Haha, agreed! The opening day movie experience was ruined for me when we went to see one of the Harry Potter movies in theatre and during a scene when Harry Potter takes his shirt off, the girls beside me squealed “He’s SO fucking hot!”
I probably won’t see Breaking Dawn opening night, but I am super excited to see it! I’m loving all the little clips and sneak peeks that have been coming out this week!

@MissGreen: When I go to the first show of the morning, it’s usually older women in their 20s and 30s, like me. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any squealing!

@Running Elley: Oh and if you are missing any of the HP movies on DVD walmart has them on sale for like 4 dollars right now! I bought all the ones i was missing!

- Wedding: June 2011 - Sydney, Australia
So not a geek. I’m hanging out for Breaking Dawn – I’m still a little bitter that they have split it into TWO. 🙁

I bought my tickets 3 weeks ago so I could see it in the biggest theater in our local movie theater. Last year I waited and got stuck in the smallest theater with terrible sound.

hahha. I have to say I’m not Twilight gaga like most but I am looking forward to this one. I’m highly anticipating the wedding and honeymoon and when she turns.
But I refuse to watch any big movies opening week. Too many people and people are too loud and rude at the theaters. I opt to wait at least a week or two.
