I’d love to know this as well…there is a RHR that I’ve been eyeballing on there for a couple months now!!

@blaringllama:  I used them and they were wonderful! A representative kept me informed about what stage the ring was in – wax mold being made, stones being picked out and set and when it shipped. The ring is so beautiful and I am really glad I used them.

I recently bought a “stand in” wedding band from them.  I think their service is great and it arrived quickly, but I was disappointed with the actual ring.  I ordered it in silver because I want something that I can wear when I don’t want to mess up my diamonds or when traveling. So I don’t know if the gold/platinum version would have looked nicer.  The CAD picture on the site lookes like it had fantastic detail, but when I got it, it looked rather sloppy and not high quality.  The detail didn’t appear the same as in the picture.  In the actual ring, all those little nooks and crannys that show up in the picture were sort of smudged together.  They had no issues taking it back though, so I can’t complain.  Also, their packaging and documentation was very nice.  This is the stock picture of the ring, it was the Poseidon Band:

@blaringllama:  I think the pricing is weird with them, I actually brought up the issue of Gemvara being overpriced on PS forums, and the responses were basically “Wow, this ring is actually a really good deal, but this next one is WAY overpriced for what it is!”. It was mentioned that the diamonds were overpriced, or at least not a very good deal comparitively. I think their prices on some of the silver pieces are over the top and some are reasonable. It was mentioned that their palladium pieces were well priced. Both rings I have from Gemvara are pretty weighty/sturdy and have a lot of metal. Also, the pieces are custom made to order so you are paying for that. I also have to say again, the customer service was excellent in every way. If you’re really in love with one of their pieces, I would definitely give them a shot.

So, I’ve been looking around at gemvara posts for ways I can say how great they are to anyone doubting! 😀 No issues at all. Fiance got my ring from there and had a perfct experience and I am so in love with it. He showed me the CG picture and the real thing is BETTER!! I can’t stop staring at it on my hand. I dunno what their white diamonds are like since I didn’t get one but everything in my ring just blows me away with awesomeness and Fiance says the shipping was great and he’s really happy with them.

When ordering the ring it was quick and easy. The ring arrived in about a week. I had told them that I am a 3.5 and they did not tell me that they could not size it down that small. They sized it down to a 3.5 but the stones stuck out way to far and it was uncomfortable! When I got my ring it looked like this

I had to take it to another jeweler to get it fixed:

Granted, I could have sent it back but I did not want to wait for it.

Yes, I think their prices are a little inflated. The band I bought was one of their cheaper ones in white gold.
