I love my gemvera e-ring!  It’s an iolite (that I don’t have decent pics of).

longtimemrs:  Its beautiful! I love blue topaz. Your hubby seems like quite a guy. You got that awesome wedding set upgrade and now this beautiful blue topaz. His taste is great! May I ask what book its on in the pic(I’m weird I guess, but I’m always curious about that, lol)?

I really want a claddagh ring. I’m at this one for my birthday coming up soon. I know its not everyone’s taste, but I love black hills gold:

longtimemrs:  It’s a light to medium purple depending on the light, and the skill of the photographer (aka anyone better than me!).

longtimemrs:  I have an obsession with rose gold and rings with ‘guards’ on either side so this is my wedding ring.  We just paid month two of five on it and waiting is the hardest part!

OMG – My E-ring is from Gemvara – and one of the designs had looked at/showed FI that liked was the Rose&Thorn ring! AND in blue topaz (blue is my favorite color and december is when we count our ‘anniversary’ as is when we first said I Love You!! It looks absolutely beautiful and stunning!! Is it comfortable? Now, it’s not the final design he picked out for my E-ring – I actually received the Emerald Cut Ceres ring – and honestly I couldn’t be happier 🙂 It is palladium and the stone is blue topaz – which for the same reasons above and I am not a diamond person and wanted something that mixed tradition with a little bit of a twist. Plus he liked the more traditional look of the ring, but the more untraditional stone – and the detail on the ring. The band has LOTS of detail – especially on the band there is a wheat design which represents the Goddess Ceres, who was the goddess of agriculture and fertility and was known for assisting young women from the single life to married life and then onto motherhood – which seems very fitting for the ring 🙂 <3  Sorry about the pictures in advance!

longtimemrs:  Of course! I love it, and love posting/showing pictures of it – and love hearing from others/seeing others that got them from Gemvara also – or simply ones that are a little different or especially have a nontraditional/colored stone – not that traditional isn’t pretty. He almost went with the Rose&Thorn cause knew it was a very “me” ring, but felt that the Ceres ring was a more “us” ring, had my flair for different, his touch of traditional, and so told our story about us as a couple more – which I love of course! Now I am just hoping that they can make me a band that matches as they don’t have one listed yet. Thanks again for the opportunity to share!

renwoman: LOVE your iolite! The color is gorgeous!!

I adore all your rings bees! There all lovely. I don’t have one but I’d pick the Lucinda ring with matching band. Yellow gold with all white sapphire stones. Wishful thinking.
