I did them all LOL

Chinese Gender chart, Baking soda test, Red cabbage test, ring test, Ramzi theory, nub theory and skull theory.  They all said girl and they were right 🙂

@ANewMrs:  Im not even pregnant – but I know a bunch because of my grandma and mom.

Supposedly if you dream you are having a boy – you will actually have a girl. Dreams show you the opposite.

If you have acne – youre having a girl – girls steal your beauty.  If you have dry hands and cold feet – youre having a boy.

My grandma swore only girls cause morning sickness.

Theres another one where you mix your urine with baking soda.  If it fizzes its a boy.  (hardly believe this)

Look at your age at conception and the month.  if both numbers are odd – or both are even its a girl.  If they are different its a boy.

If you’re craving salty foods, it’s a boy; sweet foods, it’s a girl.

Bad morning sickness = girl (tell that to Duchess Kate!)

Mother’s intuition–what does your instinct tell you? 🙂

@MrsBaldEagle:  In all my dreams where I have a baby, it is a boy and that is what I am having. I am also still sick at 20 weeks and my baby was concieved in May and I am 29 which are both odd lol so many myths. They worked for someone though!!

My girl count was higher for the old wives tales but I ended up with a boy. I guess mother nature doesn’t care about superstitions.

@SaraP2012:  nope not at all.  My friend had twin boys – and the majority of old wives tales said she was having a girl.

@ANewMrs:  The ring test was right for me with first DS, for both my sister’s kids and all of our friends who we told about it. I’m sure I’m having a boy this time as well- intuition and the ring test says boy every time (yes I have done it a ton already!!). Surely the ring test is bonafide science?!! lol

I love old wives tales and tests. When I’m pregnant I will do them all! I can pretty much tell you right now that if I guess girl it will be a boy and vice versa. I currently have a 100% strike out rate with my baby guesses.

http://www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-baby/gender-prediction/boy-or-girl-ancient-chinese-birth-chart/?ordersrc=googlepar013chinesecalendar – Chinese Calendar for prengancy link

Also, there are baby psychics  – Cheri 22 – Google her and she’ll give you a prediction.  Other bees on here have also commented.

There’s a quiz on here (don’t know the link) that you could try too.

At first all my tales (including Chinese Calendar and Cheri) said Girl.  Pencil test has shown both.  Now my answers to the quizzes are showing Boy.  My instinct is boy, but we are Team Green so we have awhile to go.

OH, and there is this study done that says where your placenta is at 6-11 weeks determines the gender with 97% accuracy.  I can’t find what the study is but you can Google around (or check this link: http://www.whattoexpect.com/forums/january-2011-babies/archives/6-weeks-knowing-the-gender.html) and find out more info.  Unfortunately I couldn’t tell on mine – I only had a 7 week U/S (that it didnt show) and then the 20 week when we didn’t find out but I’d love to know if this is true!

My hubby and I collected a list of tests (maybe from an old thread on here) and did them the night before our gender scan. We got something like 15 tests saying boy, 6 saying girl.

But we are having a girl 🙂

I just did the ring test…boy for me, and I just have a feeling that it’s a boy…we’ll see. Also commenting to follow, I haven’t even heard of most of these tests!

I just did the Intelligender test… has anyone done those? It said boy and was DARK green. Everyone seems really skeptical of it, but hey, it has a 50% chance of being accurate.

@hamikay:  You’ve disproved the tests! Did you feel like any of the girl tests were more reliable than the boy tests? Like the ring test vs. tests based on cravings or hormone level effects?
