I plan on having exclusively gerber daisy flower bouquets!! They have been my favorite for as long as I can remember. The attached picture is pretty much exactly what I want for my bouquets, with smaller ones for my bridemaids. I apologize, because at this point, I can't remember where I found this pic.
This is what I'm doing as well! Look on The Knot in flowers and then pick your color. That's where I found a lot of my gerbera daisy pictures/ideas.
That's what I'm doing. The inspiration board that chirico8684 posted is the look I'm going for.
I did all Gerberas. Talk to your florist and ask to see their gerbera book cause there are literally a thousand different types! There are also mini gerberas that work well for the guys bouts.
My bouquet was orange and pink gerberas and the BMs were just orange gerberas. My sister/MOH also had orange and pink but fewer than mine.
Here are some pictures from my wedding:
also, gerberas need LOTS of water so make sure to keep them in vases as long as you can. Also, a good idea to have water for them are the reception.
The guys flowers were most definetly dead by the end of the night, but it really didn't matter!
my centerpieces are all gerbers. i had a great gerber bouquet for my e shots. dont have pix on hand. pm me if interested and i'll send you
My bouquet was gerbers and roses but my BM's had only white and light pink gerbers... oh so pretty... can't post pics from work or I'd show you :-)
I love these ! They will definitely be appearing at my wedding, but I will probably have other flowers too.
Love gerbers I'm doing a combo of the following (inspiration pix) for a bride in March....
We're doing only gerbera daisies. I just ordered 240 (160 red & 80 white) daisies from SamsClub for $240. Can't beat that. They're $3 a piece at every flower shop in town. I ordered samples and they sent me 40 red & 40 white for free and they are beautiful. We're putting two red and one white in mason jars, some in the ones hanging from shepherd's hooks for the ceremony and my bouquet will have 20 red gerbera daisies & the bridesmaids will have 8 white & 2 red. The ones that sent as samples stayed beautiful for almost a week!
Great price at Sam's club!! I'll definitely look them up for my order, I use a wholesaler who ships mine in...
Here's mine! (Wedding 06-06-09) So they're kinda warm weather looking. My florist (Flowerville in Niles) was AWESOME! She did so much for the price I paid... other places quoted me 3 times as much! I reccommend Anna highly. She did so great. I was gonna try and do my own flowers from thebigrose.com but I'm so glad I stoped in there. It's a really little shop but I think that may be why I got such a good price?
PS... the Gerberas have a great long life in the bouquets ..not like alot of roses where they wilt half way through the day. Though as boutineers they' didn't do so well. Just FYI
Our venue (destination wedding here) gave us choices and Gerber Daisies are one of them. After seeing the pics above, they're now in the top running for me. So pretty!

Did anyone have JUST Gerber Daisies for their flowers, or are you planning on it? If so, will you post your inspiration or photos!?!
