For those of you that had the test earlier in your pregnancy that 24 weeks (just had mine at 18 due to age and family history and weight), did you have to do the screening again at 24 weeks? or is it a one time only thing?

I don’t have first hand experience with this, but my cousin has PCOS and had to take the test early. She passed it, then had to take it again at the normal time, and passed it again 🙂
ETA- I imagine if the first test DOES result in a GD diagnosis they won’t test you again since they know you already have it.

I work in gestational diabetes -you should be tested again because insulin resistance increases as your pregnancy progresses.
Make sure you’re tested again at 24-28 weeks.
