I just got my rehearsal and get away dresses recently! The first one is from White House Black Market and will be the get away dress, and the second one is Victoria Secret’s and I’ll wear for the rehearsal! I’m definitely taking advantage of the opportunity to wear white as much as possible!

Oh and about wearing it for the rehearsal dinner and the get-away, I think it’d be fine but keep in mind that these will be 2 of the 3 dresses you’ll wear on your most watched and most photographed weekend ever! I’m planning on wearing both of my dresses on my honeymoon, one casually during the day and one for a nice dinner. Maybe you could do that to wear the dress you love but get something else for the get-away dress? If cost is an issue maybe you could borrow something from a friend, you’ll only be wearing it for maybe half an hour!

@Delovely:  Ooh I like that first dress a lot!

I wore this cream/ivory dress for the rehearsal (had a belt fiasco though):

This was the one I originally bought for the rehearsal, but wore for a shower instead:

@Delovely: Totally agree. Especially if your RD is the night before your wedding. Would you normally wear the same outfit two days in a row? 😉 Of course it’s understandable wanting to wear a beautiful special dress to as many special things as possible, but I agree that bringing it along on the honeymoon might be a better option!  (BTW, lllooove your dresses you posted, esp the Vickies’!)

Is a get-away outfit the same as a “Going away outfit”??
I bought my Going away outfit.  Here is the dress.

@ecofriendlybride: I bought it online, it’s still there. Their website has a neat option to search by color so if you search by white dresses you should see it!

that is a pretty dress and i’m sure you could get away with wearing it twice, I would just have a back up for your getaway dress/outfit just in case you happen to get accidentally messy at the rehearsal (granted i’m clumsy so i’m always worried things like that)

I love that dress! Its beautiful!   I went for a Grecian kind of theme for my rehersal. This is what I wore:

I would not repeat the same dress for rehearsal dinner n getaway, you can always wear that dress again later but not so soon after wearing it the first time.
