9. Whats been the best part of panning?: All of it! I'm having the best freaking time of my life!
10. The worst?: Dealing with my less-than-enthusiastic venue coordinator.

4. How did you meet? In college, he was in a fraternity, i was in a sorority. I was a freshman, he was a senior. He lured me in with his rottweiler and I was sipping on Hawaiian Blue Boone's Farm. Started petting doggy, next thing I knew he confessed to a major crush. We were also both in Army ROTC at the time (believe it, folks) so we kept running into each other. He was assigned to the "slow people group" (aka people who run 2 miles in over 15 minutes, such as the woman...such as the ONLY woman, aka me) so we had "running dates" in our hot PT uniforms at 6am. Which led to lots of conversations.

7. Wedding theme/colors: Classic plantation/old south, champagne and champagne pink, shades of ivory. I was going for a soft, romantic sort of look. Nothing too bright--it clashed w/ our venue

9. Whats been the best part of planning? I'm going to be selfish and say that I got my way with everything. He was so laid back that it was EASY to make decisions and I was always just cruising right along.
10. The worst? He was deployed! I hated that. Also having to shell out 20K of our own money. That sucked big monkey nards

4. How did you meet? A friend took me to her boyfriend's house whose roommate was one of Loverboy's friends ... and the moment I saw him dancing to slayer I knew it was meant to be.
5. When did you get engaged? He asked September 27, 2009 - but it's hard to consider that my engagement date until I get that darn ring ... people look at me funny.
6. Wedding Date: We're looking at May 2011. Here's hoping he won't be deployed then.
7. Wedding theme/colors: I can't do themes - I've tried ... and I see one that I like, then one that's to die for, then one I just can't live without ... and colors? That's almost more difficult. I like to say our theme is AWESOME and our colors are macaroni-and-cheese Purple Mountain Majesty Robins Egg Blue Neon pink ... you get the idea.
8. Location of Wedding: I really want the ceremony to take place at the camp I grew up at. My grandfather was the ranger at a girlscout camp right up until I was 18 years old ... and there's this seriously beautiful place there to get married (I NEED to go take pictures) ... but my aunt that I don't get along with got married there so it's a toughie ... the reception? Oh man ... can't we just say it's in a building, with lights and music? I have no idea right now ... and no prospects to be honest!
9. Whats been the best part of planning? Beings that we're so far out ... the planning hasn't entirely begun - but I'm loving checking different blogs out (including WB) and putting all my thoughts about our wedding into a blog ... it's been fun! Plus, the late night convos with Loverboy about silly little details (for instance, the first dance) are interesting and amazing all at the same time.
10.The worst? That whole up-in-the-air thing. It sucks. Seriously. It's like "so we're going to do this, not do this, and at some point we'll figure out those details like, um, location, and attire!
@ EJS - I had NO IDEA you lived in MO (way to go me) ... I was born at good ol Fort Lost in the Woods. Haha.
Also - Hawaiian Blue Boone's Farm? Dude, everyone knows Mountain Berry and Snow Creek Berry are the best! Tehehe.

4. How did you meet? In high school - he had a huge crush on me his freshman year (my sophomore year), but I was dating someone. The next year I was single and we became really close friends and ended up dating!

7. Wedding theme/colors: Colors are yellow and gray, theme is basically just whatever makes me smile - we're going for bright and cheerful.

9. Whats been the best part of panning? Everything. I'm obsessed with planning - it is so much fun. I think my favorite is seeing him get into it...he actually has opinions, and I love that!

4. How did you meet? I was studying abroad in Sweden for my 3rd year of college, and we moved into the same corridor - We lived nextdoor to each other. We met on my 3rd or 4th day in Sweden, and started dating a month later =)
5. When did you get engaged? June 11, 2009 - a day before my birthday at Coronado Island in San Diego.

4. How did you meet? I was dating one of his friends who introduced us thinking we would hate each other. Needless to say the opposite happened. :) We spoke that night for 2 hours, the next night for 4, and then finally decided to meet the next day at the restaurant where he worked. I walked up to him sitting on the railing on a break - we spoke, we flirted, and he went in for the kiss (which I found out later was VERY unlike him) - and the rest is history!

9. Whats been the best part of planning? Designing and customizing everything! I'm a graphic designer and artist so I get to get make everything just the way I like it.

9. Whats been the best part of planning? Spending more time with my family and hearing how many people were excited for us.
10. The worst? The guest list!! We (or at least I) really stressed about not letting it get too big and then when it came down to the wire a lot of people couldn't make it and we probably had 25 fewer people than expected. It all worked out just right in the end though.

7. Wedding theme/colors- No real theme, our ceremony location and reception location are exact opposites!! The ceremony will be pink with touches of cream and moss green. The reception also shares the moss green and the cake will have a touch of pink.
8. Location of Wedding- Walt Disney World!! Our ceremony is at Disney's Wedding Pavillion and our reception is at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The reception will be held in what looks like an old African town.
9. Whats been the best part of panning? Our visit to Disney to meet with our planner. All the decisions are pretty much made in our 4 hour appointment. Oh and the cake tasting, lol.
10. The worst? Dealing with everyones opinions!!

9. Whats been the best part of panning? Evertything - I loved planning my wedding so much I decided to become a bridal consultant so I could help couples plan their weddings all the time!
10. The worst? I had a lot of issues with the room block at a Marriott. When guests called, the hotel could not find the block or told them that the block was full when it wasn't the case. I had to make several calls to the hotel to ensure that the rooms were available and booked properly.

9. Whats been the best part of panning? Being able to create a day that perfectly (in our opinions!) describes us and our relationship and being able to finally get to answer that question of "So when are you two getting married?"!
10. The worst? Trying to fit in wedding planning in our lives. He works evenings until late, I'm currently working early morning to early evening. We usually get about 2 hours in the morning to talk wedding stuff or Sunday afternoon if we haven't got things planned. It can be a bit stressful, especially when I get really excited about an idea and he just wants to go to sleep!

9. Whats been the best part of panning? Planning a wedding is a great creative outlet, great opportunities to create fun projects that are functional. Also, its fun chatting with my mom & sis about my plans.
10. The worst? Having too many ideas and trying to make sense of them! and talking about $ (or lack thereof) to execute all these ideas.

DIY'ing, coming up with craaaazy ideas, finding solutions to replace all that I dislike about traditional weddings (just not my thing), trying on pretty dresses, seeing ideas that once only existed in my head actually come to fruition and look way more kick ass than I imagined.
10. The worst? Some of his friends have been less than cool.

4. How did you meet? At my friend's birthday party (she's now a BM). The party was at a club, and even though he was surrounded by tons of girls, somehow FI decided to dance with ME! Of course, he didn't even ask for my number at the end of the night, but somehow he managed to get back in touch w/ me a couple of weeks later. The rest is history.

7. Wedding theme/colors: ORANGE, green, and some accents of deep purple. It sounds horrendous, I know, but I swear it's not. I'll need to share my inspiration boards later on. The theme is New England garden wedding, with some awesome modern flair.

4. How did you meet? On OKCupid :) I lived in MA and he was in PA, but he was my highest worldwide match. Then, I moved to Pittsburgh and he became my highest local match. We went on a date, and it went so well that he was the only person I dated in Pittsburgh.
5. When did you get engaged? June 19th, 2009, about a month short of our two-year anniversary. I was living in NYC, and he proposed down on one knee at The Gramercy Tavern, his favorite restaurant :) Everyone applauded when I said "Yes!"
6. Wedding Date: September 11th, 2010.
7. Wedding theme/colors: Shades of grey, purple, and blue. I like darker colors and he likes lighter ones, so picking specific colors would have been painful. My bridesmaids are picking their own purple dresses, and the groomsmen will be in grey suits with their own blue accessories. I like the idea of no one matching.
8. Location of Wedding: Pittsburgh, PA, at The Mansion at Maple Heights.
9. What's been the best part of planning? A couple things, really. First, that I don't mind it as much as I thought I would. I was never the woman who had envisioned her perfect wedding since she was five years old. And suddenly, I subscribe to over a dozen wedding blogs. Second, the interaction I've had with my bridesmaids. None of them are local (Orlando, DC, and Minneapolis), and reading the stuff they come up with over email is absolutely hilarious.
10. The worst? Having to convince Ian at Every. Single. Step. Of. The. Way. that Yes, we do have to actually start planning things this far in advance. If all of the planning guides say to book [vendor] at X months in advance, then all of the other couples getting married when we are will do so. Therefore, if we do not, everyone of quality will be booked when we finally get around to it.

7. Wedding theme/colors: theme is more like an "ambiance," but warm, with lots of candlelight and soft lighting, ivory flowers with pops of red and lavender, mixing gold and platinum ( in terms of the chairs/chargers/centerpieces)

9. Whats been the best part of panning?: seeing our dreams slowly come to fruition
10. The worst?: stressing out my super busy parents with signing contracts and meeting vendors

4. How did you meet? I was into acting, and was filming a NO budget independent film back home. The person originally cast to play opposite of me backed out, and B replaced him. B was chosen because he worked at the same company as my stepdad and my stepdad asked him to do it. He had originally planned on going to Savannah to visit his ex that day. Fate? I like to think so.

7. Wedding theme/colors: Theme: flowers, they are everywhere. On our cake, the bridesmaid dresses, embroidered on my dress, and we are incorporating them in the favors as well. Colors: blue and green to match the great outdoors

9. Whats been the best part of panning? Everything! Finding cute inspiration & ideas that you really want to do but you know you'll never get around to doing/it won't really fit in the budget/style :( haha...I love all of the ideas & things that can be done, & of course, WB!
10. The worst? People telling me I shouldn't be doing things a certain way or that I should do it a certain way. Vendors from bridal shows calling & trying to get me to go with them. No, thanks. If I want you I'll call you.
