@solidarity:  I have a pair of Badgley Mischka heels for the ceremony and a pair of cheaper wedges for the reception or whenever I can’t handle the heels anymore.  Both pairs are the same height, but I may also bring some flats or sandals if I really get uncomfortable by the end of the night.  Which now that I type it out sounds ridiculous.  Who needs 3 pairs of shoes for one night?

@emelee:  I’m the same. I have BMs for the ceremnoy but will be bringing flats. I have hear while beautiful her shoes are very uncomfortable even with being broken in.

@JessSeny:  I have been wearing mine around the house and they seem ok for me.  And they’re so gorgeous that either way I’ll just suck it up!

My dress doesn’t have a train, but I really want it to be long and flowy for the ceremony, so I am thinking about wearing flats for the ceremony, and heels for the reception so that I won’t be dancing all over the bottom of the dress. Also, I want a beautiful picture of my bridal heels done by my awesome photographer, so that’s another reason why I am getting the heels.

@solidarity: You could do that or like a PP said wear the heels around the house. I wore mine with socks to like stretch them and it worked.
