Getting back in my routine after being off my feet (for the most part) …..

No advice, but I empathise – I’ve been off work for three and a half weeks now after an ankle reconstruction, and I’m going stir crazy! I usually dance 4 x a week, plus gym, and I work in a hospital so I’m walking around most of the day. 

I’m looking forward to getting back into everything, but it’s also daunting. The amount of atrophy in my injured leg is startling, to be honest!

MrsUPS:  Do you have a gym membership? or weights at home? If so you could lift arm weights while seated so you are not applying pressure to your feets. Or a great one would be to go to the local pool and swim laps! Great work out but totally low impact.

MrsUPS:  Yeah you should be fine! When my DH snapped his achilles he was able to swim for exercise after his foot was out of the moon boot 🙂
