I’ve never considered myself super crafty. I start projects and get annoyed so they are never finished. I’m too critical of my work to think it looks good.
Im absolutely in love with the hangers with names in the wire and decided I absolutely must have this for me and my lovely bridesmaids. But holy wow they are pricey for a bridal party of 8!!!(7 girls and myself). So I decided to give it a shot. They actually look good!!! I’ll post pictures of my work tomorrow when I have my laptop handy. It was soooo much easier than I anticipated! And it comes out to about $2 per hanger (take THAT $20 hangers from Etsy!!)
Did any of you surprise yourself with DIY stuff?

That’s awesome! I am fairly crafty my self, but wire hangers are the one thing I was afraid to make. PLEASE post a tutorial if you have enough time.
I was debating on wether or not I would be able to pull off the DIY invite, but so far they look great and are exactly what I wanted !

@globalmargaret: I’ll post it all for you tomorrow!! Love my iPad but I can’t attach any pics on the website with it. Honestly I would recommend doing them! It took me one throw away try but then I had it down.

I’ll post how I made them and what I used later this evening, but here’s a glimpse of what I did!

those look great! I just slapped some stickers on mine, which then I forgot to actually give to the girls so they went completely unused lol. My least creative DIY ever.
Yes i did realllly surprise myself, not to mention my guests. Somewhere early on I got the insane idea to not hire a florist and instead to all paper flowers myself. They turned out great, I got TONS of compliments, and am now going to open an etsy shop while I get through my grad degree (which I won’t even start till next fall… so I have some spare time till then)
I’ll make a post about all my DIYs once I get my pro pics back 🙂
