- Wedding: August 2013
I had chosen to have my wedding ceremony by Rainier National Park in a small church in Elbe, Washington. I spoke to some people and it was suggested that in August that area where the church is might have a lot of activity since it is situated close to a train. I was a little put off by this and so I decided not to do it in the church anymore. Instead, I chose to do it inside the park since that’s where I wanted the majority of the photos to be taken anyway.
But…now I’m stuck trying to find a place to have the ceremony. I had asked this question before and someone suggested Cougar Rock Ampitheatre. I didn’t mind that, except that there was no center aisle. I thought about Alexander Country Inn, but I’d prefer something else if possible.
I really dont know what to do besides hopping on a plane there and going to check it out for myself, but I dont want to waste that extra $1000 that it’d cost me.
Can anyone please suggest any places with a nice backdrop in the park where I won’t be standing in the middle of a paved trail (as the park ranger I called suggested)?
