I seriously hope another job opportunity comes along soon. Every day it gets harder to come to work. I don’t even look forward to the weekends anymore because they go by too fast and I have to come back to this place on Monday. Uugh

*hug* I know exactly how you feel. I have a walk date set in place, new job or not, but the anxiety about not finding something else coupled with how much I dread being here makes it difficult to face a whole week.
You can do it! Stay positive.

SO much love, hon. I know how you feel. I don’t hate my job (especially not after my last one), but I’m severely underpaid/underemployed and I have no benefits simply because there’s no law that says that they have to give them to me. Makes me feel great that I spent 5 years and tens of thousands of dollars to be where I’m at.

I know how you feel also…I dont hate my job or anything but I feel I could do better and for better pay. It may also be the weather that makes me feel like death everytime I get up as well. The weekends are always way to short and its Monday again!

*hugs* I know exactly how you feel. I hate my job with every fiber of my being. The weekends always go by too fast and the weeks go by too slow. Try to feel comfort in the fact that you’re not alone in your misery lol

Thanks Ladies, I definitely feel better reading your commments and knowing I’m not alone.

@MrsWe: Ditto!!! I feel the same way and every day it gets worse… I got my notice for my annual raise yesterday, and got a fraction of what I had hoped for. My job title changed 2 years ago, and I was never given an increase (went from admin to Finance), and since then have been given the same raise as everyone else the last two years. Performance doesn’t have a thing to do with our annual increases here. It’s so frustrating, because I feel like I work so hard, have been here quite a while. Yet the woman who does the same job as me (but actually has LESS work), makes $4K more than I do a year (I know because I am nosy and asked, and she told). She likely got the same raise as I did, and she has been off probably close to a month for sick days and moving since she was hired in mid-August. 🙁

I know exactly how you feel. I am currently waiting to hear back about another job and just having that prospect/hope is making the current job so much easier to deal with at the moment.

I know how you feel… Waiting to hear from another job but until then I’m stuck being a receptionist.
