I was induced on Wednesday and delivered our daughter very early Thursday morning. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to share my experience.

My due date is Oct 8th but I just learned today that I'm going to get induced on Monday Oct 3rd.
My blood pressure has been getting a little high the past few weeks. It's not at a dangerous level yet....but my dr. feels like it's best to play it safe in case it keeps getting worse and turns into an emergency.
I'm actually really excited! But I'm also an a little shock. Was not expecting this and I cannot beleive that baby girl will here in just a few days.
I'm also a little nervous. I am not dilated at all yet, so on Sunday morning I go in and get a foley catheter inserted into my cervix. I'm a wimp and think my internal exams have been really painful, so I can't imagine having something put into my cervix is going to feel very good. haha! I'm also just nervous to go into labor and I can't beleive the day has almost arrived.
But more than anything...I am just really excited that she is going to be here so soon. I even cried a few times today just feeling so overwhelmed with emotion. After 9 months of waiting....the day is almost here. On Monday I will hold my baby girl! :-)
