Temperature can play a bigger role than I thought. Could that be an issue? Did you gain or loose any weight? When I lost 15 lbs my ring size when down a whole size!! Bizarre.

I vote for 7.5 as long as its just snug and not tight.

Jewelers can do 1/4 sizes! My rings are 5 1/4 because like you, the 5 was a bit too snug in the summer but the 5 1/2 spun too much. I find that my fingers are smaller in the winter. Best wishes!

@Foreverblonde345:  we have the same ring size and problem. 5 1/4, we get the honor of being extra complicated. 🙂

Please go to a jeweler for your ring sizing. I have done at the at-home ring sizing (I ordered the plastic sizer from Blue Nile) and tried on various sizes. Because it is thicker than a “typical” engagement ring band, I ended up being 1/2 size bigger than I actually would be in my 2mm engagement ring. I went to four different jewelers to have my ring sized, and they all told me I was a 3.5, whereas the plastic sizer had me as a 4. I’m so glad I went to have that size “confirmed” rather than getting a ring using the measurments from the plastic sizer.

Yes if there is a 7.75 option then it might be best snug but not tight is the way you want it to be

Try a 1/4 size if you can! I measured at a 5 in the jewelry store, the plastic ring sizer I had sized me at about 5.25-5.5.  I got my ring in a 5 and it was a bit too big, so I went down to 4.75 and probably could go down to a 4.5 if i wanted..
