so Im wondering should I tell potential new employers that I need certain dates off for my friends wedding in may which I only would need the day of off and my wedding in september which Ill need abut 2 weeks off for . How and when do I tell them and should I just not say anything aboout my friends wedding and just try and requested the day off if needed?

@jennmc85: I wouldn’t worry about mentioning your friend’s wedding, if it’s just one day. Your two weeks in September should definitely be mentioned, but not until they are extending an offer.

You don’t need to mention time off until you get an offer.

@jennmc85: If you get an offer then tell them about your wedding. I wouldn’t mention your friend’s wedding if it’s only 1 day.
