I’m slightly confused as to what you are asking. Can you be more specific?
Okay, you REALLY need to streamline your posts, it’s extremely difficult to decipher what exactly you’re asking. The cake one was like this too, with many of the same pictures. If you want people to help you, you’ve got to take the time to make sure you’re being very clear with what you’re asking. Keep options down to three or four and ask an actual question in your posts, don’t just post up a dozen pictures and expect people to figure out what it is you’re asking about.
What I am exactly asking is what settings does everyone like because the place I’m getting married and having my reception I posted first and then I posted the settings I looked at, and there are also a few twinkle light settings in the pictures of where I’m getting married and having my reception, I’m just wondering what settings everyone likes better for the reception from the pictures I posted.
Are you asking for advice on decor for this setting? I would say def. go with the white lights everywhere. The tall floral centerpiece is nice, although pink table cloth and pink chairs is a bit too much pink for me. The candy bar is nice, can’t really go wrong with those. I personally am not a fan of the balloon carriage cake table. I feel like it’s a litte dated and doesn’t really match the atmosphere of the other photos you’ve posted. Good luck!
@rachelreallylostbride: What do you mean by “settings”? Looking at the pictures you posted, you could be asking about cake table set up, head table set up, reception table set up, overall look of the reception, ceremony set up, ceremony location or reception location.
There are way too many pictures with too many different subjects here for any of us to really be helpful. I’m still not sure what you’re asking.
Ummm, I’m not a fan of the balloon carriage around the cake, but I love the pic right after that one with the pink chairs and centerpieces.
Then why are you posting pictures of cakes and barns and gazebos? Which pictures are we supposed to be choosing from? You’ve only got two pictures of actual place settings. Out of those, I’d pick the last one. Considering your venue is very rustic, however, I’d lean towards more natural and/or subdued colors. The bright pinks don’t really go with the venue. Or maybe just use bright pink as a highlight.
I had looked at the tall floral piece for a table along with short but I am not sure about the tall floral piece it just says to me that when people who are sitting at the tables are trying to talk to one another that they would have a hard time seeing each other or would be distracted from each other and would rather look at the decorations instead of talking to each other where as I would want them to look at the decorations but still be able to see and talk to each other. I love the candy bar that is definitly a go and even my mom said that and my girls also so that is definitly a yes, I can see with the balloon table with my theme is supposed to be disney magic and romance so it needs to be a little bit more romantic and less child looking and it needs to look a little bit more adult looking. @rachelreallylostbride: The only pictures that I am going by are your venue. It has great natural organic beauty with very tall cielings. I would def. have small twinkle lights or several candles and I would also have tall center pcs since the cielings are so high. I am not sure I like any of your other pictures and they don’t really tie in with the Barn venue.
What is your color palette? What do you want the feel of your reception to be? Is there something you really want or something you really don’t want? If you give us more of your vision we’ll it will be much more helpful to assist with “settings”
I think you’ve really got to make the most of your venue. It’s got such a rustic, natural feel to it, I’m not sure you want to clutter it up with balloons and organza from the ceiling and bright pink chair covers, you know? That stuff might fit in better in a hotel conference room, not a barn. I really love your venue, it’s got so much potential, I think things like the balloon carriage would look really out of place.
Rachel, I don’t know why you want to go with that site, when you have a princess-type theme going and the site doesn’t even cover the number of guests you want to invite! I think you need to look at the big picture first, Then choose your details with the amount of money you have left. There are other places in your area that will accomodate the amount of people you wish to invite-and allow them to ALL sit down to eat if that is what you want. I wouldn’t choose this place unless you are having more of a cocktail reception-not a sit down meal-unless you cut your guest list in half!!! I private messaged you to help you with what might work better for you as another option. Feel free to send me a private message in response if you’d like some assistance-I am not asking for money to help, I just think that I would be able to help you come up with a more cohesive wedding for the price you want to spend. 🙂
My theme is Disney Magic and Romance I want my reception to say romantic and elegant but still at the same time I want that at the end of the night for everyone to feel as if they had just been to the most magical event.
So my reception I want it to have the feel of Magical yet Romantic and Elegant. My color palette is watermelon colored dresses for the bridesmaids from david’s bridal, and then my dress is the watermelon/pink and white and then my flowers are red roses, white roses, pink gerbera daisy’s and a mixture of pink and red calalilies and then white baby’s breath, so my colors are pink, red, and white.
Also maybe I will go with the tall centerpieces hearing good advice from my mom about only making them so tall but still being able to have the guests see each other and easily talk to each other.
My mom called the number for the website that I chose my venue from and they have not updated their website and it has been reconstructed since they put the website up and are planning on making changes right away to the sight it can now hold up to 400 people so 350 is not a problem at all and that’s for both the wedding and the reception. @rachelreallylostbride: Great that is going to be very pretty and your barn venue is perfect for that color palette and story theme.
