Don’t despair! What is the style of your gown? Are you sure a panel couldn’t be added in the back? A quality seamstress can work wonders!

mixtapehearts: Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that! Was also going to suggest that you would take it to a seamstress, but if she says you can’t do it I guess that is it and you need to find a replacement dress asap. Perhaps you can post a stock picture of your dress/styles you like and we can all try to help you find a reasonable alternative?

Where abouts are you? If you’re in the Toronto area there is a wonderful place called Brides project where they sell second hand dresses for very reasonable prices and all proceeds go to cancer related charities.

mixtapehearts:  can she alter the back to a corset style? Maybe that would help?
