Please be honest. I have money left over to buy a budget dress.
My dress came from the dress maker on the weekend and I’m just not happy with the look and feel especially the pointy bits above my breasts. The fabric also really wrinkles and looks cheap. Don’t be nice here, you don’t know me from a bar of soap and I need to know if I’m going to be a joke. Sorry for breaking any rules re correct forum etc. first time poster. Oh, wedding is very small casual on the beach and im barefeet. Thanks so much!
Ps, couldnt zip back up myself

I think it would make a huge difference if you smoothed the neckline just slightly into a sweetheart. I really like the pearls at the back, a pearl sash would look nice. The layers of the dress could flow a bit better it’s a little choppy but I definitely don’t think you’ll be a joke!

What are you looking for here? Other dresses? Feedback on this dress?
I actually think the pointy ends are cool and interesting, but if you don’t like them it should be easy enough to trim them off. I think they make the dress look almost architectural, and they highlight how buff you are.

I like it! It has a really beachy-glam feel to me, and I think the pointed bust makes it seem a little bit more special than most other rounded-bust sweetheart style dresses. But if you are unhappy with the pointyness, could you have it altered to a more rounded top?

You can definitely get the points fixed to be more rounded. As for the wrinkling – has the dress been steamed? You should steam it the night before and let it hang on the hanger, or better yet the morning of when you’re at the venue. It wrinkles in the bag so as much time as you can give it to “fall out” will make a difference. I really like it though! It looks perfect for the beach and being barefoot.

I actually really like your dress, and i think it looks great on you!
It definitely has a beachy, casual feel, but the neckline gives it a twist.
You look fantastic! (:

I really like it! Simple, yet the top points make it interesting.

Yeah, I was prepared for a hideous dress but I actually think it’s beautiful! I agree with PP that the simplicity is really appealing and the pointy bits give it just a bit of interest and are quite flattering. If you genuinely just don’t like them then you can get them rounded out, but I personally think they look awesome!

I actually really like the points! I do think a small sash would look wonderful & make the dress a little more “complete” (for lack of a better word).

Sorry but I love the dress. I think if you buy a really nice statement necklace it would be perfect.

Tixi: I love your dress! The neckline is edgy and unique. I think it will be perfect for the beach. It’s simple without being boring.

I agree with the other ladies, I like it a lot, especially for a low key wedding. Get it steamed, it’ll look so much better. Maybe just add a sash or belt to give it a little bit more interest, or like PP said a statement necklace. Rock that dress!!

I actually really love it and think it looks great on you and would be prefect for a beach wedding.

Tixi: I actually kinda like the pointy ends better than a traditional sweetheart or dipped neckline- much more unique & stand-out-ish, I also think they compliment the lines of your bodice really well too. However, it’s your dress and your day so if you dislike them that’s all that matters! You could probably have a tailor/seamstress fix it up to be more sweetheart like fairly easily, but it may cost you a bit for the rushed job.

I like it! the seaming on the bustline and the flowy skirt have a modern and fun look. I actually like the pointy bust as it kind of goes with the clean lines of the seams. It looks perfect for a beach wedding. But what matters is what you like/don’t like about it . . .
