There are several wedding planners on the island that can help you. Shipyard plantation rents a small hall on the beach for a reception. Look online for decoration ideas. I have been to HH several times and have some beach theme ideas.
Yes, my wedding is on HHI September 18! We've scoped out quite a few vendors in the process, if you need some info. Our ceremony and reception are at Palmetto Dunes.
It is so nice to finally meet someone else getting married in HHI! Your wedding venue is beautiful!! We also looked there but are getting married at the Westin. I noticed you are also from NY, both myself and fiance recently moved from ny to fl.

I know this is months after the fact, but the wedding was awesome! Every vendor we used was wonderful. To answer your questions, our officiant was Maureen Cohen, but she has since moved out of the country. I know there are a handful on island, all at the same rate it seemed. Our ceremony music was a bagpiper, but we booked him through Hilton Head Entertainment, and they seem to have every type of musician there is.
