….

I am SO jealous.

I LOVE the french countryside. I would spend every summer there if I could.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any recommendations for you- I wasn’t in Paris long enough to have an event there. I can take a peek through all the literature I have collected on vendors in Paris and see if anything looks good, but I don’t know how much that would help…

Hi Jbui, have you considered hiring a wedding planner based out of Paris? When we got married in Rome, we hired a wedding planner who did all the coordination for us. She really helped us find vendors within our budget and because of the language barrier served as a liaison for us. I would consider a wedding planner. Planning a wedding, in itself, is an arduous task. Planning a wedding from another country is even more difficult.

My fiance and I seriously considered this for a while until his mother put her foot down and said she wouldn’t travel to France for our wedding.

In the course of our research and planning, we dealt with Caroline from chateauandvillaweddings.com quite a lot, and she was very, very helpful. I’d say she went above and beyond to help us meet our needs.

I hope that helps! Good luck!

That sounds amazing! Unfortunatly we both have two large families that wouldn’t be able to make destination weddings so we are having it local.
