Okay. I don't know that area well, so I am sorry I can't be of much help with specifics :-( Maybe check out Connecticut Bride magazine or ask La Renaissance if they have a list of preferred vendors who they've worked with in the past. You could also ask La Renaissance to give you contact info from past couples and get in touch with them to ask about their vendors.

I need some assistance to find someone to do Mehndi, my make up and hair in the CT area.
Any suggestions?
I just got married in CT at the end of July. We had an American/Indian fusion wedding. Here are the vendors we used:
DJ Azad (NY) - He was really good! He played the music for the ceremony and the reception. He created such a great atmosphere for us and our guests. http://www.djazad.com

Jamilah Henna Creations (CT) - She did my bridal mehndi and she was really good too. I loved how my henna turned out. The design was beautiful and it came it so dark! She was very reasonably priced too. http://www.jamilahhennacreations.com
Modern Mehndi (CT) - Colleen and her colleague did the mehdni for our mehndi party and they were excellent. They had two or three books of designs and they both worked very quickly. All my friends loved their designs.
Ivette Wellman (CT) - She did my makeup and she did such a fantastic job. She was super niceand she really listened to what I was looking for with my makeup. I got so many compliments. She uses airbrush makeup and it really looked flawless. It felt like I wasn't even wearing any makeup and it stayed on all night. http://www.ivettewellman.com/

Hey Ladies,
I am new to this and believe it or not my wedding date is 11/28/10 and everything was all so sudden, we just got engaged on June 20th and my parents do not want a long engagement so we are getting married in November in CT. So I was looking for some assistance from you guys for any suggestions to pick out vendors.
Any CT brides out there with any DJ and Photographer suggestions?
