I felt it was there, but it didnt REALLY hit me until the day before my rehearsal dinner. That was when friends and family started coming into town.

It's slowly hitting me. I hope the day of isn't insane when I finally realize.
The days before the wedding i felt like "cool, i'm getting married soon" but the first time i really started to realize that it is getting serious was while i got my make-up. It was like "OMG!! I'm getting MAAARRRIED today!!That's AWESOME" :)
I think I will be the same where when I am getting ready I will realize it. Now it feels like a regular Thursday.

I am getting married saturday! It almost dosent feel real. My dress got steamed and pressed out today, manis yesterday with BMS and all the reception decor is here around me in our living room.
I got sidetracked by a super long annoying work phonecall (my first vacation in 2 yrs, only for 6 days) because they all cant seem to handle the large retail family oriented clothing store I run without me there, and all have somthing to say about how I run it.
I am so angry, and sick of having to work 50 hours for salary and stress and no life, am not sure I want to go back. Worst of all, I took this store leaving a comfy job (but had lots of travel) because I thought the grass would be greener. It's not. It sucks. I hate it. The stress of being short an assistant because someone is out on comp leave for more than 6 months, and everything never being 100% clean and done, no matter what I do,
I cant wait to be married and start job hunting and get the fudge out. Its just really hard to find good retail management jobs.
Any other brides make a big job change like 6 mos before their wedding?
It hit me a little but when I was clothes shopping for the honeymoon. I don't thnk I will realize what is going on until my hair and makeup are done.
I'm getting married tomorrow!!! So excited...don't think it will actually hit me until I'm walking down the aisle!

So I'm getting married this weekend but it hasn't hit me yet. I'm excited to get married but I don't feel like it's really days or even hours away. I left work, picked up my dress, came home and ate dinner. I have no plans tonight and I'm working tomorrow then getting my mani/pedi.
For those getting married this weekend, has it hit you that it's here?
