Oh bees, it’s come down to just a couple days and I’m worried I can’t pull this off.
I’ve been planning a Brides to Brides Sale at a local banquet hall. It’s this Sunday!
People will be there personally selling gently used items such as gowns, vases, jewelry, lights, tulle, flowers, all things wedding. You know the items we have all scanned craigslist for a time or two hoping to get a good deal.
Well if things go well I’m hoping to do it again. But if they don’t I don’t know. What if not a lot of people show up to shop, what if not all my sellers show up and shopers have nothing to look at?

Breath. . . this event is going to go well. It sounds like you have worked really hard on it and I think it is a great idea! I would totally do something like this (or attend it at least!)

@Eye Candy: Well, for one, you can call your vendors just to ‘confirm’ they are coming. As for the customers, I bet you Anything they will come for sure! I went to a bridal show that I found out the day of, hoping for a deal. You know brides LOVE great deals, so I’m sure you’ll get alot of customers. For future reference, have brides sign a ‘guest book’ and then send out post cards saying when the next one will be.
So Breathe, smile, and know that it’ll be great 🙂

I did reminder emails to both sellers and shopers the other day. From the begining I have offered a discount for admission to those brides that rsvp to shop so I could get an idea on attandence because there will be food there so I needed a round about head count. Also, Sellers had to sign an agreement that carried a cancelation fee. So I am doing all I can, I think, it’s just the first time I’m doing something like this so I’m nervous.
You know I’ve been much more laid about wedding I’ve planned, lol, so why I’m so nervous I don’t know.
