CatyLady :  Yesterday, my brother and I met up with my parents (we live in different states, but met half way) to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary! It was so much fun and such a great thing to be celebrating! 40 years and I can honestly say they still love each other very very much! Such a beautiful witness of what marriage really is! Love them so much!

Saw Beauty and the Beast and had a friend in town visiting from New York so we all went out for dinner and walked around the city.

Yesterday my FI and I had some showings of homes for the first time! We just recently moved to the area we’re in now, and are looking forward to buying our first home and moving out of our temporary apartment. Well, we ended up liking the very first house we looked at so much, we went back to the agent’s office and put in an offer on it. (!!!!!!!!!!!) Keeping fingers crossed because there was already an offer accepted, but with a contingency that the other buyers sell their house first. And so begins the longest 72 hours EVER to see whether we’ll be able to buy it.

  • Wedding: November 2019

CatyLady :  I spent the weekend in different hockey rinks. My daughter’s boyfriend plays semi professional hockey and though none of my boys played while growing up, I am now surrogate mom to a wonderful Swedish boy (well 20 years old ). The team is in full playoff mode. It is a brand new world to me and I have to say that some hockey parents can be quite aggressive and downright scary. Though I enjoyed watching the games, I could certainly do without the profanity from some of the parents. It was nuts at times.

  • Wedding: September 2017 - Poppy Ridge Golf Course

Booked our flights and cruise for the honeymoon, had a lot of awesome sex all over the house, took a three hour nap yesterday. 😄 I’d have liked to say watching Walking Dead was fun but that last episode bored us both to sleep.

I got married last Friday!!! Talk about the Monday blues ( I know it’s Wednesday now). We aren’t honeymooning until May, so I came back to work since I took the week of off. Best couple days of my life spent with friends and family. So much happiness and magic that I felt sad afterwards, if that makes sense!?

CatyLady :  Monday blues are never good – I appriciate it is Wednesday afternoon where I am (Yay Hump day!) but figured why not comment. This weekend, after working Saturday day time, my friends and I went out and watched a Welsh Rap crew (Goldie Lookin’ Chain) perform at a local music venue. They were shit, but in a good way. We all drank way too much and had a cracking time. On Sunday I helped my friends decorate, it was them we have gone out with the night before. Hungover decorating sucks but we had a giggle.

This weekend starts early for me as it is my birthday Friday so I can’t wait to celebrate with lots of fun things. It is what has gotten me through the week!

ashleylee :  I think a lot of brides experience that down after the wedding. Especially if you have to go back to work – congrautlations though 🙂
