I think it's gorgeous! I would definitely look into having a zipper built in. I doubt it would be a very expensive conversion.
That dress is stunning and as long as the corset closes almost completely it should be pretty easy to put in a zipper.

Hi Ladies!
I was in a wedding last weekend where the BM dresses were gorgeous and flattering (and believe me, I feel lucky!). I think I could actually wear the dress again since it doesn't look to bridesmaidy, but the problem is the back-- I can't corset myself into the dress, so I would need help if ever wanted to get into... or out of... the dress.
Has anyone had any success tailoring a dress from a corset to zipper? It came with a matching shawl, so I do have extra fabric. Did it cost a lot?
The dress is Sophia Tolli style #BY2991T, here http://sophiatolli.com/item/?i=BY2991T&collection=Sophia+Tolli+-+Special+Occasion . And while the corsets *were* complicated, the photog snapped an hysterical shot of the seven of us in a row lashing eachother in assembly style that I cannot wait to see!
Thanks!
