I’m kind of obsessed with making playlists for all occasions (washing-the-dishes playlist, flat-ironing-my-hair playlist…) and I want to make sure that my bridal party and I have some fun music to get ready to on the morning of the big day. Should I do romantic, upbeat classics (like dionna warwick, sam cooke, etc)? fun pop music? classical? rockabilly??
I think that setting a fun, girly mood is a great way to get everybody revved up for the big day- What did you or will you plan on listening to while getting ready? Any sure-fire hits??

I had a playlist of favorite upbeat songs that I made for my 30th birthday party…I just brought my iPod and the sounddock with me to the condo where we got ready and played the mix all day. It was nice to have upbeat music while we were getting ready!

If you have an Ipod set up a playlist with a mix of all upbeat songs you love, like Mrs. Corn did. I would do a mix of contemporary, 80s, and anything that screams "fun" or "oh my god I’m getting married!"
