(Closed) Getting ready professional pics…bridal suite vs. hotel room? What should I do?

i think the hotel suite would do just great! your photographer is going to get some “getting ready photos” right?! And those are mostly close up, not a lot of background! So I wouldnt worry! Save your $300 and the stress of back and forth. Stay put and enjoy your getting ready! =)

What would you rather have – a very slightly nicer backdrop for pics only you will notice and that will be tucked away in an album, or $300 to spend on your future? I’d take the $300 and spend it on the honeymoon or save it for a house, myself.

@htrnkus: Agree with the PPs. Your photographer will be able to get great shots of you anywhere, especially if it has a lot of light like you mentioned. That’s always my tip for brides – I don’t care where you’re getting ready, just try not to get ready in a basement or dark cinderblocked room, haha. Light is everything!

I think it is nice when the rooms are simple and not distracting. wear a pretty shirt and you are good.
