I don’t know about timeline, but if you need that many people done, I would book stylists at the same salon and ask them how many people they recommend you have in order to get everything done in a timely manner.  Same with the make-up.  Good luck!

I agree with @shaydenise.  You need to talk to a salon (or two) and ask them for their advice.  It will really just depend on them – how many people they have, how long it will take them to do each person, etc.

I was recently in a wedding where all we did was get our hair done (we did our own makeup).  There were three of us, and three stylists, and it took about an hour total.  I would probably allocate at least an hour for each girl for hair and makeup, though it may take longer (I don’t know how long it takes to have professional makeup done).

So, let’s say you have 4 stylists.  They could do 4 girls at a time, and since you have 16, you would need at least four hours.  At LEAST, since some hair will take longer and I have no idea how long makeup takes to get done.  But I think an hour per person is a good starting point for you.

Good luck!

Woo girl!  You should probably start the night before!!!!  I agree with everyone else, talk with your salon and ask them when you should show up and how many people they will have doing everything for y’all.  Might I also recommend bringing food with you, becuause if you are going to be getting beautified all day you might starve before the reception!!!  Have fun!!!!

My cousin owns a salon so she and my other cousin who works there are doing our hair.  We have 8 heads to get done.  my cuz sound to count on 1 hr/girl and suggested adding a 3rd stylist so no one would have to get at dawn and then just sit around while everyone got done.

Personally, I would try to get at least 4 but more like 5 or even 6 for 16 heads.  Makeup can be worked in since not everyone will be under the brush at once.
