My husband and I do this on Friday nights. One of us will create a playlist of songs we are "feeling" that week and we'll listen to it as we are getting ready to go out. Mine usually has a lot of 80's (yeah!), Pearl Jam, The Boss and other fun, upbeat stuff.
I know I want to have some Go-Go's, "Going to the chapel", etc. I like that idea of a weekly playlist since my FI loves to play around with making CD's.
Tainted Love would be on the top of my list. Also, Bizarre Love Triangle, Tempted, Chains of Love, and I Walk the Dinosaur.
I seriously like EVERY type of music, so mine will be all over the place. From frank sinatra to MJ to john mayer to Tupac. I love variety.
I agree with july112010...my playlist would be all over the place - I like the most random assortment of music!
I got an album on iTunes called something like Punk goes 80s. It's newer punk bands interpretation of some awesome 80s jams.
Our group's getting ready to go out songs include "Ignition" by R.Kelly, "Roam" by B52s, "Little Red Corvette" Prince, "Sugar" Trick Daddy, "We Built This City on Rock and Roll"
Well, when I get ready for a girls' night I listen to (don't laugh) Pink, Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna and Girlicious. But on the day of my wedding I want to have a playlist of songs by One Republic - Say, Iron and Wine, Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure, sappy songs, and more sappy songs, lol.
I have loads of spice girls and S club stuff and east 17 and westlife and blue - I was a teenage miss fit in the 90's LOL so lots to sing along too!

I want to load my iPod up with music we can all listen to while we get our hair/makeup done and get dressed. In college my sorority sisters and I always had great mix of songs we had when we got ready to go out. We liked upbeat music (lots of 80's) that we could sing along to when we got dressed. What would be on your list?
