we will go by taxi to the venue (we’re having photos before the ceremony as its at sunset) and the guests will go by coach. then we’ll probably just share the bus back

like you – i loved the idea of a limo (family, attendents, FH and I) but im not sure i have it in the budget. and a wedding car for me too. its on my list as a “would be nice to have but not essential”. i havent given up hope yet though haha

Hello date twin!  I’m having a semi-destination wedding with all OOT guests.  After the ceremony, I’m having 4 trolley rides to the reception venue (~1 mile away).  Guests will stagger themselves on each of the trips and the bridal party will ride on the last trip.  Since there’s food waiting, I doubt any of the guests will stick around for the 4th trolley while we take pictures, so it will probably just be the bridal party on that last ride.

Most limo companies require a few hour minimum rental, so you could probably do something similiar- have a few ‘loops’ for the guests and ride back with your bridal party after photos.

@petitcupcake:  Taxi lines can be very long in vegas, that’s typically at supper time and in the evening when most people are heading out to the clubs.

You can hire a shuttle service, limos or even town cars to get your guests where you need. Vegas is full of options, just make sure you research the company you want to go with, you want a reputable company that won’t rip you off.

@drummerbride

you sound like you know about vegas! is it not possible for her to book taxis in advance rather than waiting in line? as in, say in the morning to the concierge “we will need taxis for x number of people at 5pm or whatever”

i mean if its because she wants a limo – fair enough, limos are lovely. if its because she thinks shed have to wait ages for a taxi then thats a bit different
