i think it would be great with a real bride figure to go with it 
Cute costumes too and definitely not crazy at all! Cake toppers I think are where you can have the most fun and show your personalities.
Are you crazy? Crazy awesome, maybe! I think the best weddings have a sense of humor and show a couple's personality... and this definitely shows you and your fiance's personality.
I think this could be totally fun either juxtaposed with a traditional bride or paired with an equally nerdy girl action figure. Have fun searching for a good one! :)
I think it's great! I would maybe not go with the giant inflatable marshmallow man....but hey, it's your wedding.
Besides, if anyone says anything negative about it or complains, you can just be like, "Oh yeah? Well who ya gonna call!?"

I had a friend do Mr & Mrs PacMan... Super cute and unique! Go for it, get geeky if you want but I don't think it would look weird with a traditional bride either :)
I say go for it! I love wedding details that are really personal to the individual couple. Who cares about more "traditional" cake toppers. Go with the one that is right for you guys! And I love this idea!

And it's cool that you're using the one of him in a suit and tie instead of the Ghostbuster jumpsuit. It's like he dressed up for the occasion or something. ha!

I say "Go For It!!" ....I love it!! I agree with LeilaBee...the cake topper is suppose to be fun & show the couples personality! I cring when I see Plain Jane cake toppers! Whatever you choose for yours..I think will look good...but I think a reg Bride cake topper would look really cool next to the Groom Ghostbuster one! My Fiance & I are going with the "Main Squeeze" cake topper..lol! The Bride & Groom are squeezing each others butts! We love giving each other "Love Pinches"...it's just our thing! So when I saw it...I showed it to him & we both were like "Heck Yeeeyyaa!" :) I would def love to see pictures of your cake with the cake toppers on it after your wedding! ;)
This is so awesome! I agree with leilabee that a cake topper is a great place to add some of your personality to the wedding mix. I say do what makes you happy.
LOVE IT! Even before I saw the picture, I knew my answer would be yes. Maybe you can find Sigourney Weaver's character to be the bride.

I say that's one of the coolest cake toppers I've ever seen! lol I'm a mega nerd and movie buff, so yeah I love it. It's personal and cute. Go for it!

So my fiance has a slight Ghosterbuster obsession...by slight obsession I mean we have multiple screen accurate proton packs in our house. I have agreed to let him have the below action figure be his wedding cake topper. It is the peter venkman action figure from the courtroom seen in ghostbuster 2. We both have agood sense of humor, but am I crazy? (There also may or may not be an 8ft inflatable stay puft marshmellow man at the cocktail hour, but this has not been agreed upon) and if this is his cake topper what should mine be? Should I keep it conservative and go with a "normal" bride, or go full force and find an equally nerdy girl action figure? His cake topper:
