Weddingbee boards

I'm taking a break from the craziness...at this time next week I'll be mAAAaarried, but being the chronic procrastinator I am, I'm in the middle of sewing my reception dress, sewing the flower girl's dress, and painting my wedding shoes (yes, painting). But I was about to go mad. So I decided to post a little bit about our shower!

Some of the ladies in P's family's small group at church decided to throw us a shower. It turned out FANTASTIC! It was very laid back and low key, but perfect for us. And we opened presents. Awesome sauce.

(My friends and I are chronic face-makers. Also, I'm not sure why the sweet church ladies wanted me to wear a rosebush on my shoulder, but there ya go.)

We got a cake taker! Yay! Also, I demonstrate the "OM NOM MOAR CAKE FACE."

And even though it wasn't on our registry, someone gave us a glass cake dome. P insisted that we put something on it, so the ever-loyal BM Llysta ran over a cupcake. And there was much rejoicing.

All in all, it was a great shower!! About 50 people stopped by, and our brand new little apartment (our first place together!) will be filled to the brim when we move in on Wednesday!

(Yes, Wednesday. Three days before the wedding. Any prayers, good wishes, and crazy rain dances in hopes of my sanity staying attached are appreciated.)
