I am hosting a Lowe's Gift Card Shower and need help with the wording for the invitation. This is one I have never seen or heard of before.

The other part of the theme is Karaoke.

Any suggestions???

Are you wanting people to contribute to a gift card for the guest of honor or are you asking guests to bring a gift card as a gift?

Bring a gift card as a gift. The bride and groom to be have to travel several states to come to the shower and the parents live in 2 other states. They have requested the ease of a gift card and specifically a Lowes gift card.

I've never heard of such a thing, since a shower is to, well, shower the couple with gifts. Opening gift cards would be the most awkward activity ever.

To your question, how about "Come shower the couple in plastic. In lieu of physical gifts, the couple will use all gift cards for registry items in their home state." =\
