I’m looking for suggestions for what to get a bride who lives in New York City and is planning a Manhattan weddingas a kind of destress gift. The wedding is in the middle of October and it’s coming up quick. I was thinking about a restaurant gift certificate or a gift certificate to a spa but I’m not really sure which way to go. I know that living in the cityit’s such a unique experience and I want to make sure that I get her something that will give her an easy way to take a much needed break. does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!

I would ABSOLUTELY get her a gift certificate for bliss spa, to a massage or pedicure.

I just moved here and I’m totally stressed too…the thing I want most is more hours in the day but I don’t think you can buy her that 😉
I think the spa is a great idea! Dinner might be even more stressful in its own way because you never know if people are dieting, etc.

Is this going to be her wedding gift? Or are you getting her this as just a nice gesture and you’re getting her a wedding gift as well?
I grew up in NYC and I know all my friends wanted for their weddings was cash. A NYC wedding is generally very expensive and all my friends were hoping for was some cash to help offset the cost of the wedding. So I would say not to waste your money on a massage or something unless that’s in addition to the wedding gift. Also, I don’t think it’s appropriate to give a gift to just the bride for the wedding – maybe for the shower, but not for the wedding.
Hope this helps.
