I don't think its a good idea to give your bosses presents or gift cards. Gift giving in the workplace is tricky business. So unless you know giving gifts is the norm, I'd just say thank you and leave it at that.
I would love to not give them anything - I suppose in every other office, we always did? and what if they get me something?!

My bosses were both so generous to me concerning taking days off this past year (9 days for our wedding/honeymoon and another 5 days off for 4 other weddings) and i hadn't been even working there for a year.
I was thinking about getting them both really nice gift certificates... one loves reading - the other I'm not as personable with so I was thinking a really classy restaurant certificate. Is $50 each too much? Would it make them uncomfortable? Is $50 too small an amount if the restaurant is really high end and will definitely cost her more than that (easily over $100 or more) to go there? I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Oh, and we work in the giftware business - in product design - so I don't really want to give them something we basically make ourselves... lol (like tableware, ceramics, mugs, etc...)
