I know you typically don’t give your florist a gift.. But, hear me out..
My florist is my best friend. She’s charging me wholesale prices and not charging me for her time/ labor, I insisted she charge me what she charge anyone else but she won’t have any of it.
So.. I want to get her a nice gift to say thank you for all her hard work and show my appreciation but I’m stuck on what to get her. I want to be generous and thoughtful, but not ostentatious.

Maybe a spa package? A long massage? A giftcard to a nice restaurant for her and her SO? Basket of chocolate and wine?

theshannondee: Thank you that’s helpful! Maybe a gc to a nice restaurant in their town.. And my FI and I can offer to babysit for them.
She’s a mom of two and runs her business out of her home, she doesn’t have much free time and doesn’t like the spa. I was toying with the idea of a gift basket but she makes them as part of her business and I would feel weird giving her something she makes regularly.
I was thinking jewlery originally but wasn’t 100% on the idea as I’ve noticed she doesn’t actually wear much of it..

KC-2722: If she will let you watch her kids, I would give them a night out. Nice resteraunt gift card and something to do (movie, or similar)
