My friend sent me a cookie basket that had “Congrats” written with frosting. The cookies were tasty! I think something like that or a gift card to a nice restaurant would be a great gift.

It’s not unique but a giftcard for a mani/pedi is always appreciated. All new mommy’s need a little pampering.

Lets see – i am pregnant and would love a gift certificate for a massage, mani/pedi, maybe a gift certificate to go to dinner with my husband bc we are saving and spending so much on the baby, when you get the baby’s name – you can get personalized little ring with the baby name on them, or necklaces??  Search baby name ring on etsy… they are fairly inexpensive… Or a gift certificate for newborn photography if you are thinking on the expensive side..

@abigailelizabeth919:  My sister recently gave a friend a stuffed animal with the animals arms wrapped around a bottle of lavender essential oil.  I thought it was adorable and very useful at the same time.
