Help me Bees!
My dad is eloping out of state – just him and his bride-to-be, no guests.
Currently only immediate family knows and when they get home they will start wearing their rings and telling others. In a few months they intend to have a party for 50 or so close friends and family at their house to celebrate.
My siblings and I are all very happy for them and have arranged to have a bottle of champagne sent to them at the hotel they’re getting married at along with a congratulatory card.
So my big question is – should we buy them another gift (either for when the elopement is, or when the party is), or is the champagne on it’s own appropriate?
