Maybe a gift card to a photography supply store if they're starting out. Otherwise I think a thank you note/letter or recommendation would be totally appropriate.
yeah, I was thinking a gift card to a place where a photo person would appreciate it, or just a thank you note.
But I should do this after we get the pictures...right?
I agree, after the pictures. Since this is someone starting out, you'll want to know their quality before you wrote something to praise them.
Definitely after the pictures, but a nice token of appreciation is never a bad idea. Nothing expensive but maybe something they can put in their office, so prospective clients can see it too.
Photographers love MASSAGES. You have no idea how much our bodies and feet hurt after a long wedding. :)
Restaurant gift cards are the best gifts.

I am getting my e-pics done soon, but they are being done for free by someone who is looking to build their portfolio.
Question is, should I give them a gift or something, as a token of appreciation? I don't know if it might be weird to give it to them the day of. Maybe after we see the photos, we can send a thank you note with a little something (not money necessarily).
What do you think?
