I got him some sexy photos! But because I cant keep anything a secret he already has them
I am engraving his wedding band to say "FROM FREEMAN TO FOREVER". We originally met at John P. Freeman Elementary. I also bought him an ID bracelet that I will get engraved, with his initials, when it comes in.
A little black book full of boudoir pics! And a bunch of candy, since he LOVES candy!
I getting him a Tag watch and engraving the back of it with our wedding date. He has a cheap watch now and always says how he wants a really nice one someday.
I gave him a little citris reamer - random I know but it said "home" to me. Also I gave him expensive sunglasses - that he returned. so overall I'm not the best person to ask.
I got him this.....
He wanted (and needed!) a new bag for work.
I have no idea, we're running out of budget money for anything big. And we both just got new iPhones that we sorta joke about being our wedding presents. But, I might get a bag of swedish fish and attach a note that says, "you really are a catch, I am so lucky, can't wait to marry you today" Or something like that. FH LOVES swedish fish, we're having a big bowl on our candy buffet.
I got mine the kitchen aid mixer he'd been drooling over. I figured no one was going to give it to us as a gift so I bought it for him (and didn't scan the registry so it was a surprise)
We're both skiers and belong to a local Ski Club. We just got the newsletter that shared where all of the 2011 ski trips are taking place. Because of the wedding and honeymoon and then Christmas, it's not in the cards to spend the money for a 7-8 trip. He is bummed.
Soooo, while I know it's not Taos, NM or British Columbia, I will be presenting him with a ski trip to Gore Mountain in the Adirondacks in NY. I just booked an apartment for us, so I'm very excited. I hope he will be too.
We decided not to do big gifts, and instead put individual contributions towards our "new house" fund. I still plan on writing a note and doing something little.
