Hi Bees! So here’s the situation:
My mom’s husband has been nice enough to gift us a honeymoon. He’s paying for our flights and the resort (which is all-inclusive). Obviously, my FI and I are over the moon excited about it and can’t thank him enough for his generosity! We want to get him a thank you gift that shows him how grateful we are. However, he’s the kind of guy that buys anything he wants. I would like to get him something that he can look at and remember us. He’s also a recovering alcoholic, so I really don’t want to get him anything alcohol related.
Can you help me?? I’m fresh out of ideas and our wedding is less than a month away!!!! I’M FREAKING OUT. Blerg. Please help.

@monh13: Hi, I suggested this on someone elses thread the other day. If he’s a sports fan who has a favourite team could you write to their PR dept. I did this for someone leaving work after 25 years and they received a hand signed letter from the team manager back that we put in a frame for him. All it cost me was a stamp.

@monh13: What does he like to do?
Maybe tickets to his favorite concert? Dinner at his favorite restaurant? Tickets to a game of some sort?
I got DH a groupon a while back that was his favorite gift ever…..it was $99 and he got to go to a race track and drive lamborginis and ferraris for the day……it was something he still talks about to this day!
I suggest looking on groupon and living social they have neat gift ideas that you might not think of otherwise!
