our guys got flasks filledMy with DH’s favorite whisky. My BM’s got gifts specific to each of them (similar to what I’d get them for a birthday or Christmas)

We also did flasks for the men, and pearl bracelets for the girls (we got a good deal when I bought my jewellery).

Ah, I didn’t see that part!

Lockets are cute. Maybe something engraved? We got an engraved cocktail shaker as a gift which is beautiful, and personalised champagne flutes too. Obviously that won’t work if they’re not drinkers!

For my bridesmaids and mothers I’m doing a gift tote…inside i will include things like maybe a diamond candle, a pashmina in the wedding colors, flip flops/fun little stuff for destination wedding, and something personal. At the rate things are going, i dont think well have any men in our wedding which is great – cuz i’d have no idea what to get them…

All male members of the wedding party who we’d paid for suit hire for (dads, best man, ushers, page boy) got matching cuff links (really cool ones from etsy made from swiss watch parts, quite steam punky, the mini cogs even moved).  In addition the 2 dads got engraved pocket watches and the best man got an engraved sterling engine (science/engineering ‘toy’ we knew he’d apprieciate).  The bridesmaids and flower girls all got matching necklaces (the flower girl ones were child sized versions) from etsy.  I’d also bought their entire wedding outfit for them including a shawl and shoes that they all loved. 2 mums, stepmum and nan all got engraved silver plated photo frames and our 2 witnesses (my brother and DH’s sister) got nice engraved pens.  I also got a couple of extra presents for my parents just from me, a personalised embroidered handkerchief for my dad and a bracelet with an engraved saying on it for my mum.

dWe got the best men flasks and cufflinks, then I bought my bridesmaids a necklace from Next, a small jar Yankee candle, bottle of cava, made them a bracelet, Bayliss smellies and wrote them both a card, all simple, not too expensive but knew they would like it

For mums we paid for their hair and make up on the day, bought my Dad aftershave, made my husband’s Dad a photo book for one of our holidays together

Then other presents for females were against homemade bracelets

I’ve been thinking that sending flowers or a gift basket would be a great gift. If it’s for the bride/groom – then I’d have them delivered after the honeymoon and probably focus on food baskets esp. chocolate. For the best man or maid of honor, I think it would be fun to receive a nice thank you bouquet or basket at home before the big event – perhaps with instructions to bring to the wedding.
