I haven’t seen my dad much in the past 15 or so years. I’m 26 now. I’m making an effort to keep him involved with the wedding to salvage what ever relationship we might have left. I’d like to get him a gift for the wedding but most of the stuff I’ve seen is too sappy. I’m struggling to think of something. He doesn’t drink, he doesn’t play sports, he doesn’t really do anything except work and go to church. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Maybe just a card? Or a watch or something like that? Or a frame with a cute note promising a picture?
Just curious though, why do you feel the need to gift him something? Would it make things more or less awkward if you didn’t get him anything?

MechEBee: A pen with his initials engraved in it, a one-year book of devotionals for men, something engraved with initials to put on his desk (paperweight)? Things Remembered has a lot of really nice things you can personalize without being too personal or awkwardly sappy.
