    Hi Bees,

I am now working on gifts for my whole wedding party, and am looking for suggestions.  In addition, I have to buy 7 gifts for shower hostesses as well.  I am on a budget, so I would love affordable suggestions.

    Thanks!

Mrs. Dee to Bee    January 30, 2010   Louisville, KY (Wedding in TX)

I screen printed t-shirts for the WP which was really cheap (check under Mrs. Lemon's DIY...she has instructions) and then I put together a little "emergency kit" with bandaids, hairspray, bobby pins, etc. For shower hostesses, I put something together from the city I just moved to, for women from church it was crosses from a local pottery company, for my lingerie shower hostess it was a fleur-de-lis wine stopper (I just moved to Louisville, KY and fleur-de-lis are big here). Those were all under $10. You can also give them cards from Hallmark or something with their initials on them (about $10). Hope that helps!

I love the idea of wine or something nice for the home.  But that might be because I'm in post-wedding nesting mode. :)  Good luck!

know you're on a budget, here are two ideas in different ranges:

photo coasters from crate and barrel are a reasonable price point and you can always include photos for a more sentimental gift ($15 - $20): http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=210&f=27620&q=photo+coaster&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1

i think these beverage jars from Sur La Table are so cute and not a lot of people have them yet but would use everytime they entertain at home ($40 - $60): http://www.surlatable.com/category/features/beverage+jars+%26+accessories.do?sortby=ourPicks&method=view&shopby=&filterby=&asc=true&page=all
