Found so many great ideas here that I wanted to share mine - i didn't like the paper bags that I saw, but needed an affordable non-paper bag to give to people. I sourced this bag here: http://www.apparelsource.com/item.asp?item=73550&color=White+Body+w%2F+Navy+Handles
They were about 12 inches tall and look and feel like a nice quality bag that you can keep using. We did tags (hand cut, grommeted and strung by mr.P and me.) instead of printing on the bags - partially for cost and partially because I didn't really like the idea of our names plastered all over the bags.
Everyone raved about them and reused them!
