Gift to fiance, boudoir and intimate portraiture?

posted 6 months ago in Beehive

I'm not sure what to get my Fiancé for his wedding gift. I don't want to go with the boring traditional gift of a watch.  Is it a bad idea to give him some professionally done sexy pictures? I'll probably be in the best shape of my life, before the wedding.

Thanks

Yes, definitely try to do the boudoir photos if you can!  I gave a book of my photos to my now-husband and he loved it!  If you are in LA, you should look up Caroline Tran.  She is great!

I just did a boudoir shoot a couple of weeks ago and had such an AMAZING experience! It was fun - super sexy - and will not only make the perfect gift to my husband-to-be (who LOVES lingerie) but for me when I'm old and grey! I highly suggest SkyeBlu photography in the Los Angeles area. Danielle is fabulous!

I did it -- the pics came out awesome and I actually had a ton of fun!

I just did my boudoir over the weekend with Caroline Tran!  I can't wait to see my pics and then give the album to him.  I am also giving him a dress watch because he doesn't have one.  Check her out at www.carolinetran.net

Ok I think I'll do it.  So, when do you give it to him? You obviously don't want a crowd of people around him, especially family!

I'm giving it to him after the wedding when we're alone. That's when my boudoir photographer said most brides do it.

I gave them to my fiance for his birthday and he loved them! He has the little book displayed neartly on his dresser (I'm on the cover but it's just my legs) and says he looks at it every day. Honestly, I had a blast doing it and it gave me a lot of confidence. I was soooo nervous about giving them too him, but couldn't have been happier with his (stunned!) reaction.

I did mine about four weeks ago and I'm a little upset that the photog hasn't contacted me at all about the proofs or even put previews up on her blog. With a month exactly to the wedding, I'm getting a little nervous that it's all going to be done on time.

I'm giving the photos to him after the rehearsal dinner so I can see his reaction and then also creating a book on Blurb similar to "What I Love About You" but with the questions I choose (and photos mixed in) and I'm going to have his best man give it to him the morning of the wedding.

After our rehearsal dinner we have requested some "alone time" to exchange gifts.
