Just curious, if you were invited to a vow renewal & anniversary celebration would gift the couple?
Background- our wedding was small- 12 ppl, vow renewal venue holds 150. So the vast majority of people were not present the first time. There will not be a gift registry- we didn’t the first time either.

CurlyCue: If a couple already had a wedding, I would probably give them a card at the vow renewal. I’m assuming that most vow renewals take place after a wedding with a decent amount of time in between, so the couple would most likely have what they need.

I would probably bring a card but not a gift unless I was feeling really giving or I was really close and happy for the couple.

I might bring a bottle of wine, but nothing more. Wedding gifts, at least traditionally, are meant to help you start your new household as a couple, and since you’re already married, your household is well established.

For a vow renewal, I’d give the couple a nice card. I wouldn’t be compelled to give an already married couple a gift.
