I would just send one gift.  I wouldn’t do one for the shower and wedding if you aren’t attending.

When I can’t attend a shower, I usually send a gift.  BUT.. if you also can’t attend the wedding, I think one gift is more than enough.

I would just send one gift.  I honestly didn’t expect a gift from anyone who didn’t attend wedding or shower.

I was taught that if you are invited to the wedding, you send a gift whether you attend or not.  For showers, you don’t have to send a gift if you don’t attend.  That’s what I do, except in rare cases (I have another thread about someone I barely know inviting me to the wedding, I don’t think I am going or sending a gift) or for showers where I am close to the person but unable to make it.
