Is it typical to buy gifts for everyone participating in your wedding? I have purchased gifts for the bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as my mother who is paying for and helped plan 75% of my wedding.
Do I also need gifts for:
-groom’s parents( they are paying for alcohol)
-flower girls and ring bearer
-officiant (family friend doing our ceremony for free)

I think so. Where I live it is not common for brides and grooms to give gifts to ther parents. But i do think you should give to all parents or no parents.

I’m not sure what is common, but I’m going to buy gifts for everyone.
-Bridesmaids and groomsmen
-Both parents (my dad is helping a lot more than my mom and his parents, but the other three still helped us some and are providing love and support so I think they should be included too)
-Ring bearer and flowergirl
-Any family or friends who helped significantly with preparing for the wedding

I should add the my fiance’s best man is his dad and we paid the $150 tux rental cost for him. Do I still need to get him something additional?

Maybe something small and meaningful, like a nicely written card or something. A lot of times, a gift is just a way to acknowledge someone’s role in your life or for an event and thank them. It’s not really about spending money.
